Skyterra
Skyterra is a Creature-Collecting Roguelike where you play as Bris ("Ber-ee-z") an intrepid explorer who finds the lost floating lands of Skyterra. Together with the friendly various pets on the island, fight back against the hostile creatures aiming to put an end to you, as well as big bad boss, who must be defeated to win the game. This is a was made as a group project for the class IM 289 at Bradley University. I also edited the trailer with using music from the game that we got made by a friend who is majoring in music for video games.
What did I do?
On this project I did a good bit due to the small team sizes that came with this project. Some of the main things that I did was the artifact system, both dropping and collection and buffing the player, pet leveling, enemy spawning mechanics, the adaptive music system, the map system, and settings screen.


What did I learn?
This was my first time with a bigger team where we were the same grade, I learned how to work with a settings screen, adaptive music system, using different cameras and layers to make a map for the player, and good way to keep storage for large sets of data that multiple systems would have to access.
